S169 : Rare 4" Antique Jaques Steinitz weighted Jaques Chess Set with original box and remantant of label
1870s set good used patina, kings 10cms tall. White king stamped Jaques London on foot rim.
This size is often referred to as 'small club'.
The knights form of this period set is referred to as Steinitz, in relation to the first World Chess Champion Wilhelm Steinitz.
