S243: Quality Antique English St. George chess set in boxwood and ebony
Mid 19th Century. Knights follow Jaques St. George form exactly, maybe Jaques set.
Note the high quality dense dark wood and finely turned pieces especially the rooks, kings and queens. Kings 9cms.
